Pastor – Rev. Davis Chackaleckel, M.S.F.S

Being the body of Christ, nurtured by the Eucharist, we are compelled to witness through word and deed the love of Christ. Our covenant is to develop faith, inspire hope, and promote the compassion and charity of Christ to all. We seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to enable us to perpetuate the teachings and example Jesus Christ, to heal us through constant reconciliation with God and one another, and to become a loving, joy-filled Catholic community of faith that will promote spiritual growth and the living of the Gospel. Through prayer, worship, sacraments, education, and service, we renew our dedication to the Father, Son, and Spirit, attempting always, in all things, to love as Jesus loves.

February’s Theme: Who Do You Say That I Am?

I say that you, Jesus are “Love”. Every February 25th, I am reminded of God’s love as we celebrate our wedding anniversary. With Jesus at the center of our life, we share God’s gift of love with each other, our family, and the community.

As with all talents and gifts from God, we are called to share our reflection of God’s love with others. “They will know we are Christians by our love…” It is easy to share our love with family members: Mom, Dad, brothers, and sisters. But how about that annoying person at school? That person may have some real troubles in their life. Maybe they deal with stress by creating turmoil. This week, pray for those that you find annoying. Ask Jesus to make you His light of love in their darkness. Lend a helping hand to those in need. You may be the only face of Jesus they see. You can make a difference in the world.
