About:
Troop 1927 was named after John 19:27.
We are a ministry of St. Cathernine's Catholic Church.
run in partnership with Trail Life USA.
As such we follow the basic trail life guidelines and make use of the Catholic extensions detailed on the site Troops Fully Alive.
Trail Life is a scouting organization with a focus on mentoring young men so they can become saints. We provide social opportunities for boys and young men 5-18 to develop leadership skills. A love of the great outdoors and the planet God has created. We foster Godly values and seek to intall in boys and young men the knowledge of themselves as Children of God who are called to love of neighbor through acts of Charity and service.
